The ex-president was detained on corruption charges yesterday. I seldom watch TV, but I
watched TV to catch news yesterday and today. Wow!It's really a mess, and most of news
chennels were reported about Chen Shui-bian. Some people said it's bum rap when their crimes
invoving money like embezzelment, or an alleged insider trading. I don't know who is right,and I
don't trust the media,either.MAYBE, people pretend that they are not guilty so they
intentionally say that the jurisdiction is unfair. In addition, there is another piece of news. A girl
who had joined a chennel calledSuper Idol suicided. My roommates discussed about that, and
one told me that Taiwan is going to blow up! No matter how mess it is now, I just want to care
more about my mid-term exam like most Taiwanese care if they can make a living.

In Taiwan political event is often center of attention, whether it is benefit or not, and what's worse, sometimes the media magnify its dramatic effect just like they are composing a new script. How fantastic.
Then, that's a reason that i don't care about politics. Moreover, every tv channel was reporting same news. It's really hard to find other news. Recently, American president has been elected. I was so happy about that, because i finally could get rid of american political news.
